Psychiatrist – MD, Dep, MSC, MRCPsych, FRCPC
Dr. Onwurah completed his medical school training at the University of Nigeria, and psychiatry specialty training at the College of Physicians of Ireland.
He is a member of Royal College of Psychiatrists UK and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. He has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychiatry. He also has certifications in neuromodulation psychiatry and training in transcranial magnet stimulations.
Also has vast experience in electro-convulsive treatment. He also obtained a diploma in addiction medicine from British Columbia center on substance use. He has worked extensively in general and geriatric psychiatry in both Ireland and the United Kingdom before moving to Canada last fall to pick up an appointment with WRHA
